K5000 for mac not giving me GPU Mercury Playback

So I had my boss buy us a Quadro K5000, we got it delivered on Friday, and so far, I haven't been able to get it to help me at all in Premiere (latest CS6 via subscription).  I can't seem to get a GPU option of the Mercury available.
Is this something that nVidia needs to allow? or is this something that Adobe is lagging behind? or is there something I'm doing wrong???
My mac Pro is the most current version (purchased in January from apple).
Any help from anyone would be appreciated, TIA!

You need to do the nVidia/CUDA text file hack in order to get Premiere Pro to see the card.  There are lots of resources available here and elsewhere that will explain what you need to do on a Mac to make it work.
After you've done that, you might also want to submit a change/feature request to Adobe so that they add the K5k to the line-up of supported cards (my bet is it's coming in an update).
